AC repair & installation you can trust
When your AC stops keeping up with the heat, you don't need a sales pitch. You need someone who can figure out what's actually wrong. We test, verify and fix it right.
When your AC isn't cooling
If your air conditioner isn't cooling the way it should, we track down the problem the same way we would in our own homes: test, verify and fix it right. Once the repair is done, we run a full performance check so you know the system is working safely before we leave.
Common problems we fix every day
- Weak airflow or warm air
- Frozen (iced-up) coils
- System turning on and off too often
- Refrigerant problems
- Failed capacitors, motors or contactors
- Thermostat issues
- Clogged drain lines
- Dirty or blocked outdoor coils
Inside your home, a cold coil absorbs heat from the air. A liquid called refrigerant carries that heat to the outdoor unit, where a fan blows it away. If the coil is dirty, the refrigerant is low or a part fails, the heat stays inside.
A new AC, done right
A new AC isn't just about swapping equipment. It has to be sized correctly and installed cleanly to work the way it should. We install systems built for Orange County's inland heat, coastal humidity and mix of home styles.
Every installation includes
- Proper system sizing for your home
- Clean, code-compliant setup
- New pad, disconnect and electrical whip
- Refrigerant line flush
- Airflow and duct inspection
- Full start-up and performance testing
We install central AC systems, heat pumps and ductless mini-splits.
Yearly tune-ups
A tuned system runs better, lasts longer and breaks down less. Our maintenance keeps your AC ready for summer and stops small issues from becoming expensive repairs.
A tune-up includes
- Coil cleaning
- Refrigerant check
- Electrical testing
- Drain line flush
- Temperature and airflow checks
- Full safety inspection
Should you repair or replace?
Many companies push replacement. We'd rather you know where you stand. Move the sliders for a straight, rule-of-thumb answer.
Repair it
Age × repair cost = $7,200
Based on the common industry "$5,000 rule" (age × repair cost). It's a starting point, not a quote. We'll inspect your system and tell you if a repair makes more sense.
For rooms that never feel right
Mini-splits are a great fit for spaces that never cool evenly, or areas without ductwork. They're efficient, quiet and let you set each room's temperature.

Common AC questions
Why is my AC blowing warm air?
Common causes include a dirty filter, a tripped breaker, a failed capacitor or fan motor, low refrigerant, or a frozen coil. Check the thermostat and filter first. If that doesn't help, call us for a diagnosis.
Why is there ice on my AC?
Ice usually means the coil isn't getting enough warm air (often a dirty filter or blocked vents) or the refrigerant charge is wrong. Turn the system to "Off" and the fan to "On" to let it thaw, then give us a call.
How long does an air conditioner last?
Most central AC systems last around 15 to 20 years with regular maintenance. Coastal salt air and heavy use can shorten that.
Do you offer same-day AC repair?
