This Privacy Policy explains how Forthright Climate Care LLC ("Forthright," "we," "us") handles information when you visit forthrightclimatecare.com (the "Site"), request service, or contact us by phone or text.

Information you give us
When you use our booking form, call or text us, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number and (optionally) email address
- Your city and whether the property is a home or business
- Details about your heating, cooling or air quality needs, and any notes or photos you choose to send
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. This is used to keep the Site secure and running properly.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing the Site stores on your device is your text-size preference (using your browser's local storage), so the Site remembers your choice between pages. You can clear it anytime in your browser settings.
How we use your information

- To manage Comfort Plan memberships you sign up for
- To keep records required for our business, warranties and legal obligations

How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed:
- Formspree processes booking form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
- Our website host stores and serves the Site.
- Google Maps loads only if you click "Show the map" on our Service Areas page. Google's own privacy policy applies to that map.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our customers, our company or others.
If you choose to send your request by text message, it is sent through your own phone's messaging service and your carrier's terms apply.
How long we keep information
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide service, honor warranties and Comfort Plan terms, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
How we protect information
The Site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to your information to people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and California privacy rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records we must keep by law. California residents may also have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
